Final Shots: Amazon Announces Their Next Batch Of Pilots

Considering this is a democracy, it only makes sense that you have a say in what the next Prime Video original series will be. The Seattle-based streaming giant has announced today the launch of its brand new pilot season, where subscribers will be able to determine the next batch of Amazon hit shows.

According to a press release, the new shows (which include two one-hour pilots and six kids pilots) are scheduled to debut on Amazon Video in the US, UK, Germany, Austria and Japan on June 17th. The two one-hour pilots will include The Last Tycoon (an image of which is featured above) and The Interestings, both of which will be available in 4K Ultra HD and HDR. The children’s show repertoire will include a live-action series titled Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, as well as the animated pilots The Curious Kitty and Friends, Jazz Duck, Morris and the Cow, Toasty Tales and Little Big Awesome. The various acclaimed roster of talent will include the likes of Kelsey Grammer, David Arquette, Thomas Lennon, and many more. Samantha Morton (The Last Panthers), Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), and Lesley Manville are set to star in a new original co-production between ITV and Hulu. Titled Harlots, the new eight-part drama series will premiere Stateside as a Hulu exclusive and on ITV Encore in the UK. [Deadline]

Netflix has shared the main trailer for its upcoming animated feature film, The Little Prince. Featuring characters voiced by Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, and Paul Rudd, the film will debut in the US exclusively on the platform on August 5th:
