There are few things that go better with summer than great music. Showtime knows these two are a winning combination, which is a big reason why their new summer dramedy about the music industry is so much fun. Roadies combines the excitement of behind the scenes band drama with a highly talented and quick-witted comedy cast.

Created by Cameron Crowe and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Roadies follows the unsung heroes of the music industry — the road crew. The series blends performances and appearances by real life bands like rapper Machine Gun Kelly (who plays Wes in the series) and The Head and The Heart with fun performances from the show’s stars. One of the most fun and instrumental characters on Roadies is the band’s accountant, Harvey, who is portrayed by comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Finesse Mitchell.

Decider had the opportunity to talk to Mitchell about his character and what it’s like working with Cameron Crowe and Luke Wilson. But because this show is so invested in the music industry, we thought we’d have some fun with the star. We asked Mitchell one simple question: What band or performer would he be a roadie for? His answers did not disappoint. Check it out below:

Just to recap, here are the performers Mitchell would road crew for:

  • Prince
  • R. Kelly
  • Bon Jovi
  • Extreme
  • Rihanna
  • Anyone in the Marley family

It sound like Mitchell would have a pretty busy schedule. Hopefully, Cameron Crowe is listening to Mitchell’s musical preferences. For some reason, the idea of Luke Wilson hanging out with Rihanna sounds like must-watch TV.

The first episode of Roadies is streaming now on YouTube, Amazon Video, and Showtime. New episodes of Roadies air Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on Showtime or on Showtime Anytime.
