Admit it: You didn’t catch each and every one of the 2016 Academy Award-winning films when they were in theaters last year. It’s okay! Typically, only film critics and hard core cinemaphiles manage the entire list of winners (and nominees). The good news is now is the perfect time to catch up on the best films of last year.

This year’s impending Oscar race won’t officially kick off until fall and most of the major Academy Award winners from last year are sneaking onto your favorite streaming services. As of today, you can watch both Spotlight and The Big Short on Netflix, favorites from chic indie studio A24 on Prime Video, and a plethora of Oscar race favorites on HBO and Starz. And, of course, you can always rent or buy the rest on VOD.
