It’s day one of the 2016 Democratic National Convention and while things haven’t officially kicked off on the convention floor, things are already cantankerous. Former Democratic Party Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz stepped down from her position this weekend after Wikileaks confirmed that she had encouraged members of Democratic Party to work actively against Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign. The Washington Examiner reports that Schultz attempted to lead a Florida delegation event this morning and was met with the kind of boos that the disgraced Cersei Lannister received on the streets of King’s Landing on Game of Thrones.

Now, it’s not like Schultz was stripped down and forced to walk her way barefoot from The Philadelphia Art Museum to the Convention Floor, but she did have to endure repeated shouts of “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

All eyes will be on the Democratic National Convention this week. Last week’s Republican National Convention brought its fair share of controversy. Melania Trump became the target of jokes after it was discovered that she had lifted parts of her speech from Michelle Obama and Trump was heckled by late light luminaries (including Jon Stewart) the whole week long. If the DNC is already dealing with drama, what can we expect in the days ahead?
