Afternoon Delight: Two Gals Learn the Ghostly Truth in ‘Life, After’

What better way to prepare for the fast-approaching weekend than by indulging in the some of the Internet’s most well-done web content? Take advantage of your lunch break and treat yourself to Afternoon Delight, Decider’s carefully curated picks of the best short-form content available on the world wide web. This week we’re spotlighting Life, After, a new web series following two friends subjected to a supernatural subsistence after they are struck by a car and die.

Created by and starring Corinne Caputo and Erica Tachoir, the series stars a talented handful of UCB comedians and Tonight Show and Late Night vets among other hilarious cast members. Life, After depicts a newly-dead duo on a quest to find out why they haven’t “passed on” and resolve their unfinished business. Corinne and Erica handle a new tenant in their apartment, a failed pottery date, phantom friendships, postmortem parties, and playing the blame game with their friend Beth, who basically killed them by sending them an extensive text message as they walked into oncoming traffic.

The chemistry at play between the two leads and the rest of the cast makes each episode more entertaining than the last, and true hilarity ensues with each eerie encounter. The witty women behind this show make it more than worth the watch, and the absurd adventures over the eight episodes make us wish there was more to enjoy.
