Psst — do you feel that too? It feels like another Woman Crush Wednesday is coming on!

We’re about halfway through the first season of HBO’s Vice Principals and we couldn’t help but notice: we’ve got a total woman crush on Georgia King. She plays sensible high school teacher Amanda Snodgrass on the half-hour comedy, a lady just trying to do her job when she’s not dealing with co-worker Neal Gamby (Danny McBride) and his constant antics. King has previously worked with some major comedic actors, but the way she is able to hold her own opposite McBride is quite impressive. She provides both a ton of heart and a voice of reason to the hilarious show, and we can’t get enough.

WHO’S THAT GAL: Georgia King

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: King is one of those actresses that can just as easily play a nice gal as she can play a mega bitch, and we love that she brings such emotional diversity to her performances. We’re assuming the UK-born actress has an accent, but you’d never be able to tell with how well she’s nailed an American accent at this point in her career. You’ll recognize her from a ton of other fun shows and movies, but get ready to see her in even more interesting roles as her career flourishes.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: King had quite a banner year in 2008, appearing in Wild Child with Emma Roberts, The Duchess with Keira Knightley, and Tanner Hall with Rooney Mara and Brie Larson (let’s just take a moment to imagine how cool a squad with all those ladies would be!). Since then, you probably caught her in Burke and Hare, Chalet Girl, One Day, and Austenland. Girlfriend was on a role!

Many American audiences took note when she starred in the Ryan Murphy sitcom The New Normal, as a sweet surrogate for married couple Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha. She also made quite a splash as a smart secretary with an evil side in last year’s gritty music industry comedy thriller, Kill Your Friends, with Nicholas Hoult, Craig Roberts and James Corden.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: We’ve still got a few episodes left in this season Vice Principals, and she’s signed on for the second season as well. This gives King plenty more time to tolerate all the shenanigans that arise during a typical school day, like the true queen that she is.
