Get excited, all of you cocaine-obsessed streaming addicts. Netflix has officially renewed its drug-fueled crime thriller, Narcos, for two more seasons.

Starring Wagner Moura, Boyd Holbrook, and Pedro Pascal, the first two seasons of this Netflix drama focused on the rise and fall of Pablo Escobar, a dramatized version of the real-life drug lord who was responsible for heading the Colombian cocaine trade in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Just four days after the show’s second season premiered, Netflix has renewed the series, USA Today reports. This is exciting news for fans of the gritty series, but it leaves some questions to be asked, namely, what will the show cover in its third and fourth seasons?

Season One watched as a high stakes game of cat and mouse, focusing on the rise of Escobar and introduction of the Colombian cocaine trade to United States. However, Season Two stepped back from the drama a bit, allowing the series to really explore the complicated and horribly violent figure that was Escobar. The biggest problem Netflix might run into with Narcos third and fourth seasons has everything to do with Escobar, who dies at the end of Season Two’s 10 episodes. That’s hardly a spoiler, but the way. Netflix has been advertising Escobar’s Season Two death for weeks now, and when the real-life Escobar was killed in 1993, it was kind of huge news. But the prospect of watching Narcos without Escobar seems bleak.

There is hope new seasons of the show will still be great. Season Two ended with expanding the universe a bit. Pascal’s character, Agent Pena, is recruited to return to Colombia to pursue the rest of the narco leaders, so it’s likely that’s where the series will pick up. No matter where the show takes us, we’re in.
