Doesn’t it feel like we’re all just waiting for another Wednesday to roll around? Oh, just us? Well, that’s because we get to celebrate another wonderful Woman Crush Wednesday!
This week we’re honoring Radha Mitchell, one of the busiest working actresses today. She’s been in movies that have made you cry, made you jump out of your own skin, and most of all, made you feel entertained the entire time.
WHO’S THAT GAL: Radha Mitchell
WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Radha is one of those fearless actresses that can kill two birds with one stone, in a single performance. She can be kicking major ass while remaining sweet and caring in one of the many films she’s appeared in — especially those action/horror/thrillers she’s always so good in. She’s easily demonstrated that there are more sides to her acting than a Rubix cube. Radha remains one of the most dependable actresses working today who can play a hero, a love interest, a smartypants, and really, anything you throw at her. “Impressive” isn’t even a strong enough word to describe her IMDB page — Radha’s given memorable performances opposite some of the finest actors to ever grace the screen: just where she belongs.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Radha was a huge success in her homeland of Australia before crossing the Pacific and making a name for herself in Hollywood. She’s starred in 2000’s Pitch Black with Vin Diesel, Dead Heat with Kiefer Sutherland, and Phone Booth, with Colin Farrell and Katie Holmes. Radha also appeared in Man on Fire with Denzel Washington, and Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.
She starred in 2006’s horror adventure Silent Hill, returning for the sequel Silent Hill: Revelation 3D in 2012. Clearly, when people work with her once, they can’t wait to do it again, as she starred in Olympus Has Fallen and returned for this year’s London Has Fallen.
You might know her from 2009’s The Waiting City, Surrogates, or The Crazies — three very different movies with one fantastic actress in common.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER NEXT: You can currently see Radha in her latest film, The Darkness, on VOD now. She plays Kevin Bacon’s wife and mom to a child (Gotham’s David Mazouz), who brings back rocks from a camping trip that happen to have supernatural forces attached to them. Eek, you’re gonna want to watch this one with the lights on!
She will also star in next year’s The Shack, based on the popular book of the same name, about a man who is summoned back to the site where his daughter was murdered, to meet with God.
