The Tick (2016)

Powered by Reelgood

Amazon Studios announced today that they have picked up three of their original pilots to series: I Love Dick, Jean-Claude Van Johnson, and The Tick. Each half-hour series will premiere next year on Prime Video. After the success of their original shows One Mississippi, Fleabag, and Transparent season 3 this month alone, the site is clearly gearing up for a huge 2017.

You can currently watch each of the pilots on Prime Video and get hooked for yourself. But wondering if you should Stream It or Skip It? We’ve watched them all, and we’ve got you covered.

Stream It or Skip It: I Love Dick
This series stars Kevin Bacon and Kathryn Hahn, and counts Transparent‘s Jill Soloway as an executive producer, as well as director of the pilot episode. The show explores relationships and sex and everything that comes along with them.

Stream It or Skip It: Jean-Claude Van Johnson
This ode/mockery to ’80s action films stars, who else, the master of them all, Mr. Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Stream It or Skip It: The Tick
The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz, whose voice you may recognize as that of the “Sassy Trump” videos, in a comic book show that is completely weird and unique from all the others—and that’s a good thing!
