Netflix’s Expiring Shows And Movies: A Complete List Of What’s Leaving On November 1

October is coming to an end, which means we’re just days away from enjoying dozens of new releases on Netflix. However, every action has an equal opposite reaction. In order for us to gain a plethora of new shows and movies, we have to saw goodbye to some of our favorites. That’s a dramatic way of saying a bunch of prime titles are about to expire from Netflix very soon.

So what do you need to start binging in a panic? The biggest blows have to do with beloved blockbusters and cult shows. The Spielberg classic E.T. is leaving the service as well as everyone’s favorite lawyer-themed girl power movie, Legally Blonde. Also, the spy comedy Chuck is going away, which is going to be a big blow for any diehard fans out there. If you’re a fan of new and classic Cartoon Network shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Chowder, and Uncle Grandpa, you’re also about to be disappointed. All of those shows and movies, and so many others, are leaving the service throughout the month of November. Thankfully, streaming contracts like these are always shifting, so you’ll probably be seeing some of these titles again in the near future. Below is your complete list of what’s leaving Netflix this upcoming month.

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

Nothing is more heartbreakingly Spielberg than this ’80s masterpiece about one boy and his Reese Pieces-loving alien best friend. If the end of Stranger Things still has you loving everything sweetly sci-fi, then it’s time to dive back into this classic before it expires from Netflix.

Chuck: Seasons 1-5

You better get to binging. This comedy about the world’s least likely secret agent is leaving Netflix on November 1, which means you only have a few days to relive this too-soon cancelled gem.

Almost Famous (2000)

Cameron Crowe’s iconic drama about the music industry is leaving our lives. Starring Kate Hudson, Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup, Zooey Deschanel, and Jason Lee, this journalism-focused coming of age tale is perfect for any afternoon.

The Boondocks: Seasons 1-4

There are few things more ridiculously entertaining than this Adult Swim show. The best way to describe The Boondocks is what would happen if contemporary rap culture met anime. Huey and Riley may not have been the voices of their generation, but they were a shining cynical light in their bizarre world.

Legally Blonde (2001)

Elle Woods’ (Reese Witherspoon) empowering tale about owning who you are and pursuing your dreams no matter what is leaving us, which is certainly not ideal. Don your brightest pink and head back to Harvard this week.
