During the never-ending highway to hell that has been politics in 2016, there has been one side story that has refused to die until very recently: presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s questioning of President Obama’s birth certificate. Trump has finally admitted that yes, Obama was born in America, but from the beginning, Trump has been linked to the Obama birther conspiracy. In celebration of Trump’s departure from the world of low quality YouTube videos and yarn connections, Samantha Bee decided to pitch her own conspiracy theory last night: Donald Trump can’t read.

Packed with sarcastic uses of Trump go-tos like “huge” and “tremendous,” Bee broke down several Trump rallies, a deposition the candidate gave a few years ago, interviews, and many heartwarming clips from ‘80s television to argue that Trump was illiterate. Obviously, Bee’s theory has no actual ground, but it was a pretty great piece of comedy that smartly used Trump’s own vocabulary and outspoken beliefs against him. The bit didn’t present any new information on Trump save for the deposition, but it was a fun new way for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee to mock a candidate the show and Bee herself clearly do not support.

However, the surprising star of the segment was an interview with Pete Davidson about the Trump-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live. In the interview, Davidson said that Trump “doesn’t really know how to read” and would constantly go off script during rehearsals. You can see why that would make practicing a scripted comedy show difficult, and maybe that’s a big reason why the episode was so terrible.

Is Bee right? Can Trump actually not read? Probably not, but anything is possible during 2016 politics. There are no rules! But one thing is certain: Bee should start making more conspiracy theories.
