Hulu Announces 2017 Dates For ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ ‘The Path,’ ‘The Mindy Project,’ ‘Casual,’ and More!

Hulu just announced its 2017 “Mid-Season” slate. This means we finally know when new series like The Handmaid’s Tale and Harlots will drop and when we can expect new seasons of standby favorites like The Mindy Project, The Path, and Casual.

The Path Season 2

Premiere Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
What’s the Deal: Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy co-star in this moody drama about members of a fictional cult.

The Mindy Project Season 5B

Premiere Date: Tuesday, February 14, 2017
What’s the Deal: Our favorite sassy OB-GYN is back for more hilarious hijinks and drama! Seven new episodes of the series debut this winter.

Harlots Season 1

Premiere Date: Wednesday, March 29, 2017
What’s the Deal: Do you like British period dramas, but wish they were just about sex? And prostitutes? And a turf war between madams? Well, Harlots is going to be for you. Samantha Morton stars as Margaret Wells, a brothel owner and mom, who has to deal with a rival madam played by Lesley Manville. Downton Abbey‘s Lady Sybil, Jessica Brown Findlay plays Margaret’s eldest daughter.

The Handmaid’s Tale

Premiere Date: April 2017
What’s the Deal: Elisabeth Moss and Joseph Fiennes lead an all-star cast in this adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s iconic novel. Moss will play Offred, a woman who finds herself a sex slave after a religious fundamentalist group overthrows part of the United States. Her one goal? Find her daughter. Right now we’re due to get just 10 episodes of the series, but there’s a chance it could come back as an ongoing series. The series is also being produced by MGM Television.

Casual Season 3

Premiere Date: Tuesday, May 23, 2017
What’s the Deal: Alex, his sister Valerie, and her daughter Laura will continue to navigate the muddy waters of love, romance, and sex in the next season of this delightful dramedy.
