One of the most electric films of 2015 is now easier to stream than ever. Creed, Ryan Coogler‘s bold reboot of the Rocky franchise, is now available on Hulu and Prime Video.

Creed pulls off a cinematic magic trick: It brings back the original Rocky franchise to its full glory and reimagines it for a new generation. Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis “Donny” Creed, the illegitimate son of Rocky’s former friend and rival Apollo Creed. Jordan plays the young man as someone haunted by a legacy he never really got a chance to feel apart of. He pushes himself into the gyms and attempts to carve out his own reputation as a boxer. He just needs a little help from his dad’s old friend, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone).

Michael B. Jordan is a staggering force of charisma and the film is full of verve. Classic set pieces are reimagined with new force and the movie’s most sterling moment is a breath-taking extended 4-minute-long fight scene filmed in one single shot.

Creed received rave reviews for its clever mix of heart and fire. It also set up writer-director Ryan Coogler as an auteur to watch. Coogler is now attached to direct Marvel’s Black Panther (and is bringing Jordan along to play the villain).
