FXX has released the official red band trailer for Season 12 of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and it’s everything you could have possibly hoped for. The brand new clip for the forthcoming season, which premieres on January 4, provides a glimpse into what kind of shenanigans The Gang might be getting themselves into.
According to the one-minute clip, the brand new season will feature a trip to a water park, The Gang’s own television pilot, male sexual exploitation, and a PCP binge. Apparently, all or some of these plans could be taking place in a “new city” if referencing the trailer’s back track. Hulu has nabbed global streaming rights to Cartoon Network’s hit Emmy-nominated franchise, The Powerpuff Girls. According to a press release, the multi-year agreement incorporates all previous episodes of the show, including this year’s newly reimagined series that will be available in 2017.
Netflix has finally enabled its 4K video content, which has been slowly rolling out on streaming boxes and Smart TVs, on some Windows 10 PCs. At this time, only those who own a very recent seventh-generation model with an Intel Kaby Lake processor and 4K display will now have access. [Engadget]
Netflix has cast Canadian actors Dalila Bela, Corinne Koslo, and Aymeric Jett Montaz in the platform and CBC’s forthcoming Anne of Green Gables adaptation. Titled Anne, the eight-episode drama series is based on Lucy Maud Montgomery’s timeless novel and will debut in 2017. [Deadline]
Amazon’s The Grand Tour has already shattered viewership records on Prime Video, making for the platform’s biggest show premiere ever. According to a press release, the motoring show has surpassed ratings for the highly acclaimed The Man in the High Castle and is currently the top rated TV show or movie on IMDb with an overall rating of 9.6 and over 10,000 votes.
ICYMI: Hulu has released the official trailer to Shut Eye, the platform’s forthcoming 10-episode psychic drama. The Jeffrey Donovan-starring original series, for which Hulu will embrace the binge model, will premiere on December 7:
