Good Girls Revolt creator Dana Calvo slammed Amazon after the platform recently declined to renew the former Prime Video original series for a second season. Producer Sony Pictures Television is now shopping the series to other outlets.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Calvo claimed that “[Amazon Studios head] Roy Price just doesn’t care for the show” and that “He didn’t know the characters’ names.” Calvo also insisted that the show was doing very well in the ratings and did not warrant cancellation. Furthermore, he added that the platform is “not a great place for creatives” and that “they run some people out.”
