Holiday Bowl Live Stream: How To Watch Minnesota Vs. Washington State For Free

We hope you have your snacks ready! The Minnesota Golden Gophers take on the Washington State Cougars in the 2016 National Funding Holiday Bowl!

Minnesota will be playing in their first Holiday Bowl, while this matchup will be Washington State’s third appearance in the game. Live from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California, two exciting college football teams meet to determine gridiron superiority!

WHAT TIME DOES THE HOLIDAY BOWL BEGIN?

The Holiday Bowl kicks off at 7:00 P.M. Eastern.

HOW DO I LIVE STREAM THE HOLIDAY BOWL?

The Holiday Bowl will be available to watch on ESPN, which means it is also being livestreamed on the Worldwide Leader’s excellent WatchESPN app. Unfortunately, you’ll need to authenticate with a cable provider if you want to watch the game on Watch ESPN, so get your (or your friend’s/parent’s!) login credentials ready.

All you cordcutters out there can watch this afternoon’s game via Sling TV, whose Orange package carries both ESPN and ESPN2 (more on Sling below). Plus, don’t forget that there’s also PlayStation Vue. Subscribers to their ‘Access’ basic cable streaming service have access to ESPN.

Another option is DirecTV Now, a new live streaming service similar to Sling TV and PlayStation Vue. ESPN is currently available in multiple packages, which begin at $35 per month.

HOW CAN I GET THE WATCH ESPN APP?

If you consider yourself a sports fan and you haven’t already downloaded the free Watch ESPN app for your iOS, Android or Windows Mobile device, you’re doing it wrong. Rectify that situation immediately! You can also tune-in via Watch ESPN’s Roku channel, using your Amazon Fire TV or Chromecast device, or by visiting WatchESPN.com on your desktop or laptop computer. (NOTE: You’re going to need to authenticate with your cable provider, so make sure you have your login and password for your cable system handy.)

HOW CAN I GET SLING TV?

This is a terrific time to check out Sling TV. The service’s Orange package, which includes access to ESPN, ESPN 2, Comedy Central, and TNT, normally costs $20 a month, but the company is currently offering subscribers a free one-week trial of the service. Then, from there, you can either download the Sling desktop app (if you’re watching on a desktop or laptop computer), or download the Sling app for iOS/Apple devices, Android, Roku, Microsoft, Nexus player, ZTE or XBox One.
