From “You’re fired” to “You’re hired,” original Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault is headed to the White House.

Manigault is expected to join President-elect Donald Trump’s White House staff where she will reportedly take on the role of public liaison. Omarosa memorably appeared on the inaugural season of the NBC reality series, where she was fired by Trump during week nine. Despite her dismissal, Omarosa has remained close with the President-elect over the years. She not only served as director of African-American outreach during his campaign, but she’s also a member of the transition team’s executive committee. She also gave the ominous quote to Frontline about what will happen as soon as Trump transitions from PEOTUS to POTUS, “Every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump”:

A lecturer on branding and marketing at Howard University, ABC News reports that this role was not Manigault’s first choice. Omarosa originally expressed a desire to be the ambassador to Haiti, where she had previously done missionary and service work.

Her initial work on The Apprentice spawned a slew of other reality show appearances, including Fear Factor, The Surreal Life, and Celebrity Apprentice. It is currently unknown if Trump is considering additional Celebrity Apprentice contestants like Jose Canseco, Tom Green, or former NBA champion/pro wrestler Dennis Rodman for jobs in the White House.

This won’t be Omarosa’s first visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. She previously worked in the office of Vice President Al Gore during the Clinton administration.
