Hulu SVP and Head of Content Craig Erwich announced this morning that they had acquired the exclusive streaming rights to The Golden Girls. The beloved sitcom about four sassy broads living it up in retirement was one of the last big shows to not be on streaming and it will hit Hulu on February 13, 2017. “Just in time for Galentine’s Day,” Erwich joked.

Erwich kicked off Hulu’s presentation at TCA 2017 with a look at the platform’s successes and a preview of the road ahead. Erwich boasted that one of the reasons Hulu decided to pick up the musical drama Nashville was because they had seen tremendous growth with The Mindy Project. While streaming services are famously stingy on ratings or metrics, Erwich said that The Mindy Project‘s engagement is up 11% from where it was at this point in season four.

Erwich also announced that Hulu has nabbed the exclusive streaming rights to the critically acclaimed ABC sitcom Black-ish. On the original side, Erwich didn’t announce any new acquisitions, but hyped everything from The Handmaid’s Tale to the already-announced Future Man.  Erwich also noted that Hulu acquired The Golden Girls through a deal that re-upped the streaming service’s rights to pre-existing content like Desperate Housewives.
