While the rest of conservative America was busy being scandalized by Meryl Streep at the Golden Globe on Sunday night, FOX was airing an episode of The Simpsons that took a shot at not one but two of Fox News’ most prominent personalities when it produced a fake book cover of a fictional O’Reilly novel called “Killing Hannity.”

In the episode titled “Pork and Burns” (yes, in case you were wondering, Spider-Pig is still a thing), Marge finds herself wrapped up in the tidying-up craze — not dissimilar to how Emily Gilmore fell under author Marie Kondo’s spell on the new Gilmore Girls season — via a book called The Japanese Warrior-Monks Guide to Tidying Up. But take a gander above it on the shelf.

“Killing Hannity” of course falls in line with the titles of Bill O’Reilly’s other real books, including Killing Reagan and Killing Lincoln. The fake cover of “Killing Hannity” has O’Reilly lurking behind his Fox News-mate with a knife.

The Simpsons has spent well over two decades making sight gags that linger in the background of shots. In this same episode, the new Stephen King novel is called No One Edits Me.

This is the second time this season that The Simpsons has put Fox News in its sights. Back in October, Kent Brockman considered a job at Fox News where he’d play a liberal who only shows up to get trounced. Later in that episode, O’Reilly himself is described as an “older, stupider” version of Brockman.

Looks like the FOX entertainment guys and the Fox News guys are getting along as swimmingly as ever.
