George Lopez Calls Woman a “Bitch”, Tells Her to “Get the F*ck Out” At Stand-Up Show

George Lopez is currently catching Internet heat after berating a heckler at a stand-up show in Phoenix on Saturday. After telling a racially-charged joke (“There are only 2 rules in the Latino family; don’t marry somebody black and don’t park in front of our house”) that elicited a middle finger from a woman in the front row, Lopez began an expletive-laden tirade directed at the woman. This was all captured in a video posted by TMZ, which shows the joke and Lopez’s angry response as he repeatedly tells the woman to sit her “f*cking ass down” or “get the f*ck out”. There were cheers and jeers as he continued his rant: “I’m talking, bitch. You paid to see a show. Sit your ass down. You can’t take a joke, you’re in the wrong motherf*cking place”, eventually offering the now-empty seats belonging to the so-called heckler to other audience members. The video quickly went viral and Lopez’s name began trending on Twitter, where the most predictable of arguments have broken out amongst users.

After what seemed like radio silence, Lopez finally commented on the incident in an Instagram post, sharing a video from the late 80s that depicts comedian Kenny Moore smashing his guitar on a heckler’s head (an action that apparently required the victim to get 40 stitches on his hairline). “Get on up here motherf*cker”, he quotes. “This happens when you try to become part of the show.”

Lopez also retweeted a joke about the incident referencing his use of the word “bitch” and how he might end up becoming President with that kind of behavior. While every comedian certainly has their own method of dealing with hecklers, Lopez’s aggression towards this female audience member has caused quite a stir.
