A first look at the cast of Disney’s forthcoming Han Solo Star Wars spinoff has been revealed, along with an announcement that filming is officially underway. Principal photography for the highly anticipated yet-to-be-titled film began yesterday at London’s Pinewood Studios.

According to the film’s website, the movie is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and stars Alden Ehrenreich as the famed intergalactic bounty hunter. The film also features Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, with Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. It is scheduled to be released on May 25 of next year.

It appears that Hulu will be streaming five new Gundam mecha anime series worldwide. Gundham: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Gundam Wing, Gundam 00 and Gundam: The Origin are already available for streaming and both Gundham: Seed and Gundham: 08th MS Team will be released in the near future. [Forbes]

Writer-director Guillermo del Toro reported on the status of the planned Hellboy 3 project this morning to fans, stating “that 100% the sequel will not happen.” He bluntly added that he spoke with “all parties” and “that is to be the final thing about it.”:

Showtime has announced that its forthcoming drama series I’m Dying Up Here, will premiere at this year’s South by Southwest Film Festival on March 15. The first episode of the brand new series, which is set during the heyday of Hollywood’s 1970s stand-up comedy scene, will air via the platform on June 4. [Deadline]

HBO has revealed a new line of Funko Pop! Figures based on its hit original series, Westworld. The figures, which feature characters such as Bernard Lowe and Dolores Abernathy, are listed at $9.99 each and although they are not yet for sale, the platform reports that they are coming soon to the HBO Shop:
