AMC Networks is reportedly planning to launch an ad-free online video streaming service aimed at millennial TV subscribers. In an effort to support traditional cable television, the brand new platform will be exclusively available to consumers who subscribe to a cable TV package.

According to Fortune, the network is also considering digital-only cuts of its existing programs such as The Walking Dead. The SVOD platform will tentatively be priced between $4.99 to $6.99 a month, however, final details are still being worked out.

Netflix has released the official trailer to its forthcoming highly-anticipated documentary, Casting JonBenet. Directed by Kitty Green, the brand new feature takes a look back at the mysterious murder of six-year-old Boulder, Colorado pageant queen, JonBenet Ramsey:

Hulu has picked up a brand new yet-to-be-titled Freaks and Geeks-esque 90s teen drama from James Franco and Seth Rogen. The series, for which details are scarce, is written by author Kelly Oxford and produced by Franco and Rogen along with Vince Jolivette and Evan Goldberg. [Variety]

Comcast has acquired nationwide television streaming rights from its cable network affiliates to offer their channels nationwide. The new arrangements will provide the biggest U.S. cable operator with a backup plan if the cord-cutting trend continues. [Bloomberg]

Netflix has released the official trailer for Jo Koy’s new stand-up comedy special Live from Seattle. The one-hour original feature, during which the comedian tackles everything from flunking school with his son to why he loves when women laugh, premieres Tuesday, March 28:
