Final Shots: YouTube To Livestream Coachella’s Lady Gaga, Radiohead & Kendrick Lamar Sets

For the seventh consecutive year, YouTube and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have announced a partnership to livestream sets from the festival, this year featuring Lady Gaga, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. Performances by Lorde, Bon Iver, The xx, Future and ScHoolboy Q will also be livestreamed by the platform next weekend (April 14-16).

According to Billboard, the Coachella channel will feature 3 live channels that will include a 360 mode for select performances. Highlights and footage taken over the course of the weekend will also be available on-demand. Viewers will also be able to opt in to browser alerts as well as create a personalized viewing schedule that will automatically change channels according to your preferences.

Amazon has greenlit a brand new K-Pop competition series from A. Smith & Co. Productions and Cheyenne Enterprises. The Prime Video original series, titled K-POP: The Search for the Next K-POP Superstar, will follow aspiring K-pop performers from around the world as they compete for a recording contract with a major music label. AT&T’s “Unlimited Plus” wireless plan subscribers are now being gifted with a free HBO subscription. The channel will be offered to both AT&T video subscribers and wireless only customers via HBO Now. [TechCrunch]

IFC has already renewed its highly-anticipated new comedy series Brockmire for a second season. The brand new show, which has already had both a strong digital view count for first episode and positive reviews from critics, will premiere via the cable network tonight. [Deadline]
