Those Real Housewives reunions have nothing on this Twitter war! Yesterday, the news broke that Alec Baldwin claims he didn’t know how old actress Nikki Reed was when they filmed a sex scene for the 2006 film Mini’s First Time. He was 47, she was 16, but says he didn’t find out until after filming and claims he “flipped out on the producers” when this information was revealed.
However, producer Dana Brunetti tells a different tale, claiming that Baldwin not only knew, but was fine with it. This kicked off one of the most epic Hollywood Twitter beefs as Baldwin and Brunetti traded barbs over social media. And yes, the word “douche nozzle” was most certainly used.
Baldwin took swipes at Brunetti’s film Fifty Shades of Grey and called the producer a “Hollywood zombie,” all while promoting new episodes of his own show, Match Game, as the two argued about uncovering signed releases and threatening to “bury” each other. Brunetti also told The Hollywood Reporter, “I think he’s been method acting Trump too much and he doesn’t know the difference between fake news anymore.”
Nikki Reed, who also appeared in the Twilight franchise, has stayed silent on the matter, which is a smart move since this will only continue to get uglier.
