After years of being left out, Netflix has finally nabbed its first-ever Cannes Film Festival screenings to debut at the event’s upcoming 70th installment. The platform’s original films Okja and The Meyerowitz Stories will be on display at the world’s biggest venue.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, both films will screen in the official competition, which will run from May 17-28, and will launch globally on Netflix later this year. Amazon, which had five titles in the festival’s lineup last year, will premiere Todd HaynesWonderstruck and Lynne Ramsay’s You Were Never Really Here at the event. “We are thrilled at the opportunity to premiere two of our highly anticipated films from directors Noah Baumbach and Bong Joon-ho in this prestigious forum,” said CCO Ted Sarandos in a statement.

The show’s third season picks up right after Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948.

Hulu has acquired U.S. SVOD rights to CBC’s Pure, the drug-running drama starring Rosie Perez and Ryan Robbins. Produced by Two East Productions and Cineflix Media, the series portrays a Mennonite pastor (Robbins) trying to protect his family and preserve his faith while battling drug trafficking within his community. Hulu’s upcoming live TV service will likely be priced at $39.99 per month, with ads and access to Hulu’s on-demand library, according to sources with knowledge of the platform’s plans. 13 Reasons Why has surpassed the record for most-tweeted about Netflix original series in its first week of streaming.
