Hola, Wednesday! Today we’re applauding a Mexican actress that’s got us totally mesmerized after witnessing her fantastic performance in a new Netflix film.
We caught Aislinn Derbez in Win It All opposite Jake Johnson and now we want to see her in everything, ever. As Eva, a nurse, single mom and love interest to Johnson’s Eddie, Aislinn immediately clenched Woman Crush Wednesday status.

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Did her performance in Joe Swanberg’s latest film have you running to the internet to learn more about her? Because we sure did! She more than held her own during screen time with Johnson, and gave her character a strength and confidence that only made the romantic stakes even higher. Aislinn totally nailed her performance by making Eva flirty and sexy while also having her priorities in line and sticking to them. That’s our kind of gal!
WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Aislinn comes from a long line of Mexican stars but has paved her own path in the industry, making herself a staple in Mexican entertainment. She’s even appeared in Gossip Girl: Acapulco, the Mexican version of the CW drama! You may have caught her in the Spanish episode of Easy last year, her first time working with Joe Swanberg. It’s obvious why the director couldn’t get enough and asked her return to the full-length Win It All, and we’re so glad he did!
