Final Shots: YouTube TV Adds AMC, IFC & More To Channel Offering

In the wake of Hulu TV’s highly-anticipated launch, YouTube TV has added AMC, IFC and more to its current channel offering. BBC America, Sundance TV, Telemundo, and We TV have also been added, elevating the platform’s total number of channels to 43.

According to Mashable, the Google-owned company has priced its live TV package at $35 per month and although it doesn’t offer the same kind of cheaper “skinny bundle” that Dish’s Sling TV does, its competitive package is now $5 cheaper than Dish’s similar bundle. Aside from the aforementioned platforms, YouTube TV is also currently up against its predecessors PlayStation Vue and DirecTV Now. Growing competition seems to solidify the fact that cord-cutting is the only move for affordable live television.
