Best Picture winner Moonlight begins streaming on Prime Video this weekend, and Robert De Niro is back and better than ever in HBO’s original Bernie Madoff biopic, The Wizard of Lies. Your favorite series are back – some after a long, long wait – so prepare to batten down the hatches and binge Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and indulge in a damn fine premiere episode of the new Twin Peaks. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season 3 *Netflix Original

She’s back (with the rest of her quirky gang) and better than ever! This campy, clever comedy helmed by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock stars Ellie Kemper as the eponymous Kimmy, a cult-member turned eccentric New York City gal. The show’s third season finds our protagonist adjusting to her life now that the Reverend (played hilariously by a typically dramatic actor – we won’t spoil it for Kimmy virgins) who kidnapped her is around again. This sincere, irreverent, off-the-wall series will make you laugh, occasionally tear up, and keep watching until you’ve unknowingly blown through the entire series.

You’ve waited 25 years… and the day is finally here. Renowned auteur David Lynch has the whole gang back together, and our favorite Special Agent Dale Cooper – our beloved Kyle MacLachlan – leads a star-studded cast as they return to Twin Peaks 25 years after the shocking murder of Laura Palmer. This 18-part limited-event series is directed entirely by Lynch and written by series creators Lynch and Mark Frost, and we couldn’t be more excited to indulge in the bizarre, mysterious intrigue of it all again.

Moonlight

This stunning winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture is finally available to stream on Amazon Prime Video this weekend. Directed by Barry Jenkins, and starring an incredible ensemble cast (including Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali) this gorgeous feat of storytelling examines three chapters of Chiron’s life as he grows up in a tough Miami neighborhood. Chiron, a young, black gay man, is confronted with painful family dynamics, school bullies, and intense obstacles on his way to adulthood. This now-historical, moving, atmospheric drama is essential viewing.
