Prepare to feel better about your life. Flaked, Netflix’s Will Arnett-led dramedy about lies, alcoholism, and missed connections in Venice, is returning this June. Decider has the first look at what you can expect in the show’s six-episode second season.

Created by Will Arnett and Mark Chappell, Flaked follows the life of Chip (Arnett), an alleged alcoholic and a prominent and inspirational AA leader in Venice. But (surprise!) it turns out that Chip isn’t addicted to alcohol as much as he is addicted to lying. Season 1 saw Chip go from a local of Venice to an icon for his community all while finding the woman of his dreams, London (Ruth Kearney). However, what goes up must come down, and that’s especially true of chronic liars who mask their own insecurities by pretending to help others while being a hypocrite. Chip’s story saw him lose his home, business, status as a community hero, and close friends all because of his lies.

So where does that leave Chip for Season 2? If the above trailer is to be believed, sadder and more lost than ever before. This upcoming season looks like it’s going to be a redemption story, and if anyone needs a redemption story it’s this antihero. Also, if there’s any actor that can nail a sad, snarky man-child clawing his way back to acceptance, it’s Will Arnett. So next time you think your life is out of control, just remember Netflix’s tale of Californian deception and fake alcoholism and give yourself a break.

Season 2 of Flaked premieres on Netflix June 2.
