Beauty and the Beast

The biggest movie of 2017 so far, Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast has earned over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Emma Watson stars as the bookish Belle while Dan Stevens growls as the brutish Beast (underneath all that CG). If you missed it in the theater and have been waiting to catch this enchanting tale at home, you’re in luck: Beauty and the Beast is available to buy and rent right now.

Band Aid

If you want to see a new movie, the relationship comedy Band Aid both opens in theaters and arrives on VOD for purchase today. The film stars Adam Pally and Zoe Lister-Jones (who also directed the film) as a dysfunctional couple that decides to turn their fights into songs, Fleetwood Mac style. Along for the musical therapy tour is Fred Armisen as a mild-mannered drummer, and a number of faces you’ll recognize from shows like Veep or New Girl.

Moonlight

For just under a dollar, you can check out this year’s Best Picture winner–a film that Decider’s Joe Reid called “the best Oscar-winning Best Picture in a generation.”

As Reid wrote, Moonlight is “perfectly calibrated, disciplined filmmaking that tells a desperately under-told story. And while it’s the story that feels so incredibly urgent, keep an eye on the filmmaking, because Barry Jenkins and cinematographer James Laxton served up some of the flat-out most beautiful shots in any movie last year.” Moonlight is also available to stream on Amazon Prime if you’re a member.
