Nicole Kidman is slowly morphing into a straight-up talk show treasure.
Last month, the Academy Award-winner memorably 86ed chef Giada De Laurentiis’ dish when she spit out the renowned culinary expert’s cooking on an episode of Ellen, and now the Big Little Lies star is handing out a big, little (and very harsh) helping of honesty to Game of Thrones star Kit Harington.
During a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Harington shared a story about how he had lived with his best friend for ten years until recently deciding to move in with his girlfriend, his former Game of Thrones co-star Rose Leslie. “I’m very, very happy, and it’s going well,” the actor said as the audience gushed.
One person who wasn’t gushing? Nicole Kidman. She was having none of it. The Australian actress instead asked Jon Snow when he was gonna put a ring on it.
“Are you going to get married?” Kidman asked a stunned Harington. “I just think it’s kind of nice if you’re going to live together maybe to at least get engaged. I’m working hard for her here.”
Harington’s response?
“I’ve been put on the spot by Nicole Kidman,” the actor replied. “I mean… step by step. Step by step.”
Kidman’s followup, “I’m just all about getting engaged, and then living together.”
The lesson, as always, is that on a scale of 1 to 10, Nicole Kidman gives zeeeeeroooo f*cks when it comes to talk shows, and honestly, we kinda love it.
