**WHAT'S THEIR DEAL:** Dougie seems to have been "manufactured" to be a second doppelganger for Agent Cooper. He takes the Evil Cooper's place in the Black Lodge's waiting room and dissolves into a tiny golden ball. This Woodsman is also a key player in a series of scenes that take place in 1956. He emerges from the New Mexico wastelands to wreck havoc on a small town. **WHAT'S THEIR DEAL:** Senorita Dido is a mysterious figure who comes from the same place as the kindly giant who has guided Cooper in the past. Twin Peaks: The Return

The world of Twin Peaks just got bigger than ever before. Last night’s episode — Part 6, “Don’t Die” — finally introduced us to the elusive Diane Evans. As it happens, the woman Agent Dale Cooper was monologuing to via a tape recorder all those years ago is actually a super glam Laura Dern! She wasn’t the only new face we met last night, though. We also met the impossibly chipper Miriam Sullivan and the incredibly deadly Ike “The Spike” Stadtler.

Twin Peaks has always been the place to see brilliant character actors playing wonderfully eccentric characters. And the new Showtime series is continuing that tradition in a great big way. Last April, it was announced that the new series would boast a cast of 217 characters, many of them brand new to David Lynch‘s television universe. In the first two episodes alone, we meet over 30 new faces, all with their own special part to play in the mysterious saga of Twin Peaks.
