As we officially enter the summertime, we’d like to take this opportunity to honor a woman who’s career is as hot as the sun. This week’s Woman Crush Wednesday goes out to the star of the new movie, The Bad Batch, Miss Suki Waterhouse.

WHO’S THTAT GAL: Suki Waterhouse

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Bold, bitchy, and beautiful: Suki’s demonstrated her ability to cover it all on-screen. And with this week’s release of The Bad Batch, well, we’ve got a serious actress on our hands. Hell, in the trailer alone she shows off her running skills that should give Tom Cruise something to worry about. The gritty new cannibalism thriller will immediately make her One to Watch, but hello, we’ve been watching her for years, and we’re betting this will be the film that gives us many, many more years of Suki success.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Suki made her big screen debut in the 2012 thriller, Pusher. She followed that up with the 2014 romance, Love, Rosie, with Lily Collins and Sam Claflin, as well as The Divergent Series: Insurgent as Marlene. She starred as Kitty Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and played herself in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, and that’s when you know you’ve truly made it.

She recently appeared as Cecily of York in the buzzy new Starz drama The White Princess, and her year is only getting busier.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Starting this Friday you can catch Suki as Arlen in The Bad Batch, from Ana Lily Amirpour. It’s got some sci-fi, some romance, and some humans eating humans stuff in it, so just know that. Later this year, Suki can be seen in the drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing, the sci-fi flick Future World with James Franco, Billionaire Boys Club with Kevin Spacey, Taron Egerton, and Ansel Elgort (who she also co-stars with in the upcoming sci-fi film Jonathan), and Assassination Nation, a thriller with Bella Thorne. This lady’s got quite the good batch of projects still to come this year, so get ready, because she clearly is.
