God bless Game of Thrones fans. If you give them a hint of what possibly, may be a spoiler, they will take a conspiracy-filled mile. Today’s game-changing factoid doesn’t come from a cast member who misspoke or an ominous blog post from George R. R. Martin. This time it was from someone who is likely one of the hardest working and least appreciated members of the GOT family — the costume designer.

In an interview with Uproxx, Michael Clapton may have unintentionally revealed a bit too much about which characters will be meeting this season. As always seems to be the case with this HBO show, it all has to do with Jon Snow’s (Kit Harrington) appearance. This time it’s his fur cape that’ under fans’ microscopes:

We had a lot of discussions about does the cape give him presence or is it better to not have that presence? What are we trying to say? There are times when we removed it because we wanted him to be more vulnerable. Especially I think, when he saw Dany, and he went to see her for the first time in her chamber. We decided to remove it, but then when he went to see Cersei, we put it on.

So this officially means that Jon Snow will be meeting with both Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei (Lena Heady). Fans suspected Johnny boy would be meeting up with Dany this season following some leaked paparazzi photos, but the revelation that he’s going to meet Cersei is an entirely new one.

Is it possible that both of these meetings are part of the fake scenes HBO sometimes film to trick fans? Yes. Would it be incredibly cruel to have a costume designer work on what are slated to be fake scenes? Also yes. I guess we’ll only learn who Jon Snow meets when the Season 7 premieres. Until then, it’s back to wild speculation.

Season 7 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO Sunday, July 16 at 9 p.m.
