The HBO gods are blessing us once again and making Insecure‘s first season available for free for 24 hours only. That 24 hours kicks off at 6am on Sunday, July 23rd. That date sound familiar? It’s because that’s when season 2 premieres on HBO at 10:30pm.
So this means you need to clear your entire July 23rd right now: cancel all your plans, tell your job you’re not showing up, and even move your brunch plans to another weekend. Because once season 1 goes live for free you’ll want to watch it all on repeat until we finally get a brand new episode from Issa & Co..
Whether you devoured the entire season last fall when it debuted, or you have yet to witness the brilliance of this half-hour comedy, it’s worth watching. Season 2 picks up not long after the events of the season 1 finale, so it will be wise to have it fresh in your mind. The show, which is also available now on HBO Go and HBO Now, is not only super funny and relatable, it’s also really thought-provoking and heartfelt in many ways.
