There’s nothing like a good trending topic to bring people on Twitter together, especially in these divided times. That’s what’s going on right now as #NetflixNeeds takes over the social media site, with users laying down the law on the popular streaming service. This is what the people want, Netflix! These are the interface changes they want you to make, and these are the shows they want to stream. And what they want… is apparently to stream every Disney Channel or Nickelodeon shows from the early ’00s.

This speaks to the truth that the generation that grew up in the early part of the 21st century are now adults going through the nostalgia pangs that go hand in hand with growing up. I mean, if you ask me, my #NetflixNeeds would probably be The Adventures of Pete and Pete or Clarissa Explains It All, so, I feel y’all. Oh, and we also agree on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

I’ll point out that that’s a valid gripe, as pretty much every popular sitcom from the ’90s is currently MIA on almost every streaming service.

Other users have taken the #NetflixNeeds tag in a different direction, not asking the streaming service for more content but instead asking Netflix to improve their interface. Like, what’s up with this thumbs up/thumbs down nonsense?

And Netflix, cool it with the judging!

International users also have one common #NetflixGripe:

But not all requests have been super serious.

Or I dunno, on second thought, that’s a feature that could be very useful.
