Starz opened their Summer 2017 TCA presentation with an Executive Session featuring Chris Albrecht, the network’s President & Chief Executive Officer, and President of Programming Carmi Zlotnik. During their presentation, the premium cable network debuted a brand new video featurette about Outlander Season 3 called “Parallel Lives,” which you can see above, and unveiled some new photos for their upcoming miniseries adaptation of Howard’s End. The new adaptation of E.M. Forster’s masterpiece stars Hayley Atwell, Matthew MacFadyen, and is written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan.
Starz also announced that the second season of their critically-acclaimed anthology series The Girlfriend Experience will debut on Sunday, November 5 at 9 PM. Season Two will follow two parallel storylines happening on opposite sides of the country: Washington, D.C. and New Mexico.
Finally, Starz revealed that they have greenlit a brand new original thriller from Twilight author Stephenie Meyer and The Night Manager‘s Stephen Garrett. The Rook will follow a young woman who wakes up in a London park. She is surrounded by dead bodies and has total amnesia. The series will debut on Starz in the United States and air via Liberty Global Partners overseas.
