**Katie** (Marguerite Moreau)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** A sweet, girl next door camp counselor, Katie rode a romantic rollercoaster in the summer of 1981. She ditched her Camp Tigerclaw boyfriend Blake and hooked up with bad boy Andy, only to then wonder if maybe Coop was the guy for her.
**Ten Years Later:** Now in her mid-20s, Katie has become the chief tastemaker in the world of fast-paced world of cosmetics. Her biggest challenge: deciding what the fall's it color will be!Netflix

**Victor** (Ken Marino)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Vic spent pretty much all of 1981 trying to give up his v-card to whoever was willing, be it a camp choreographer (Michaela Watkins) or fellow counselor Abby.
**Ten Years Later:** Still an overcompensating virgin, Vic has put his confidence and perm to work as a bartender in Manhattan's Upper East Side. His gig is more *Coyote Ugly* than *Cocktail*, as he also shakes his stuff on the bar every night.Netflix

**Neil** (Joe Lo Truglio)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Neil spent the first day of camp trying to win over his high school sweetheart Shari, who was totally humiliated by the rest of the Camp Firewood gang.
**Ten Years Later:** Neil is still by the side of his best bud Vic ten years later. He's also a bartender, and he's also learned a thing or two about cutting hair in his spare time.Netflix

**Gary** (A.D. Miles)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** While his boss and camp chef Gene transformed into a loose cannon, Gary tried to keep the kitchen running. He also found out McKinley and Ben's secret relationship.
**Ten Years Later:** Gary's moved on up from the kitchen of Camp Firewood. Now he's a chef at a super swanky Manhattan restaurant, and he know show to make macaroni and cheese in *two* different styles.Netflix

**J.J.** (Zak Orth)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Another easy-going camp counselor, J.J. spent most of his time hanging out with Gary and trying to figure out why McKinley kept sneaking off.
**Ten Years Later:** J.J.'s keeping it real as a clerk at the super cool Kim's Video and Music, a legendary (and now closed) spot in New York's East Village. He's also an aspiring filmmaker and carries his VHS camcorder with him everywhere.Netflix

**Lindsay** (Elizabeth Banks)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** This journalist from *Rock & Roll World* magazine went undercover at Camp Firewood for a world-changing expose about camp life-and she ended up staying there. By the end of the summer, she was just like any other camp counselor and even had a rocky relationship with Andy.
**Ten Years Later:** A decade after her summer posing as a counselor at Camp Firewood, Lindsay's moved up to TV, where she's the host of News Channel 5's *Puff Stuff with Lindsay Handelman*.Netflix

**Susie** (Amy Poehler)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Camp theater director Susie had a fling with Broadway actor/director Claude Dumet (John Slattery) on the first day of camp, which led to the end of her relationship with Ben (he'd also cheated on her with McKinley). The two closed out the summer by putting on the Camp Firewood talent show.
**Ten Years Later:** Susie's put all of her camp/showbiz experience to work as a hotshot Hollywood movie producer, one that parties with Eric Stoltz at the Viper Room. Her current project: a new film titled *By the Grace of God and Ever After* starring her boyfriend, Garth MacArthur (Jai Courtney).Saeed Adyani/Netflix

**McKinley** (Michael Ian Black)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** The mild-mannered and pragmatic camp counselor McKinley struck up a zoot-suit-induced romance with Ben in the summer of '81, a fling that turned into forever during a lakeside wedding ceremony on the last day of camp.
**Ten Years Later:** McKinley is still happily married to Ben, who is still totally Ben even though he doesn't exactly *look* like Ben anymore, and the two are the proud parents of a baby named Ashley.Netflix

**Ben** (Adam Scott)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Ben, played by Bradley Cooper in the film and *First Day of Camp*, helped directed Firewood's theater department with his ex Susie, and he married McKinley on the last day of camp.
**Ten Years Later:** Now Ben looks a lot like Adam Scott, the result of a nose job done to fix a deviated septum. But Ben's got more than just a new face; he has a new daughter *and* his career as an architect.Netflix

**Coop** (Michael Showalter)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** The timid Coop started out the summer of '81 trying to hold onto his girlfriend from the previous summer, Donna, even changing up his entire look to please her. Coop's attention turned to Katie after Donna left him for Yaron.
**Ten Years Later:** Coop's still a sensitive guy, and he's got a fiance named Ginny and a career as a writer. *Ten Years Later* finds Coop trying to sell a memoir based on his time at Camp Firewood, but he just can't decide on an ending!Netflix

**Arty** (Samm Levine)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Arty (a.k.a. *The Beekeeper*) kept the plot moving forward throughout the summer of '81 with his smooth radio voice and mastery of all things P.A. related.
**Ten Years Later:** The Beekeeper is still at Camp Firewood, handling the announcements and entertaining campers with his P.A. charisma. And after being voiced by Samm Levine but played by teenage actors, the *Freaks and Geeks* alum makes his debut playing the 20-something adult Arty!Photo: Netflix

**Beth** (Janeane Garofalo)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** The summer of '81 was a rough one for Beth, who got bumped up to Camp Director after her boss (and also lover) Mitch was turned into a talking can of vegetables by toxic waste. With the help of Greg, Beth uncovered a government conspiracy on the first day of camp, and then fell for an astrophysics professor named Henry on the last day of camp.
**Ten Years Later:** Not much has changed for Beth work-wise over the past 10 years. She's still in charge of Camp Firewood, although that might not be the case much longer. One major change has occurred, though: she has a daughter (who we don't meet) with Henry, although the two are no longer together.Netflix

**Nancy** (Nina Hellman)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Camp Counselor Nancy worked alongside Katie to help guide all the girl campers through their summer journey.
**Ten Years Later:** Like Beth, Nancy is still working at Camp Firewood ten years later. Nancy does have a secret, though, one that reframes her entire role in the franchise. We learn towards the end of *Ten Years Later* that Nancy has actually been a mole for Ronald Reagan the entire time!Netflix

**Abby** (Marisa Ryan)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Abby got her period on the first day of camp, transforming from a girl into a woman (literally, teen actor Bebe Wood went into the bathroom stall and Marisa Ryan stepped out). By the end of camp, Abby knew a thing or two about sex and tried to help Vic lose his virginity.
**Ten Years Later:** After bringing her sexpertise to Camp Firewood in the '80s, Abby is now a sex and intimacy columnist whose many flings are fodder for her career.Netflix

**Andy** (Paul Rudd)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Motorcycle-riding camp heartthrob Andy set his sights on Katie on the first day of camp, and he worked to win her over from Tigerclaw alpha male Blake. By the end of the summer, though, he'd moved on to making out with Lindsay (when she didn't smell like a burger).
**Ten Years Later:** It should not be surprising that only superficial things have changed about bad boy Andy. He's still the same detached, cool yet whiny slacker he's always been-except now he looks like one of Pearl Jam's rotating drummers.Netflix

**Mitch** (H. Jon Benjamin)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Originally Firewood's director, Mitch made a bad deal with a chemical corporation in order to keep the camp open. He got to keep the camp, but they got to dump toxic waste in the woods. Mitch fell into that waste while holding a can of vegetables, which he promptly turned into.

**Gene** (Christopher Meloni)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** The summer of '81 was a summer of change for Gene, who started out the season as a squeaky clean chef named Jonas, fiancé of Gail. But after Mitch's transformation, the truth came out: Jonas was actually Gene, an Vietnam veteran with skills as a fighter and hacker. After Gail left Jonas at the altar, the shellshocked Gene took over.
**Ten Years Later:** You can now find Gene totally detached from society (and possibly reality), living in an RV by the ocean.Saeed Adyani/Netflix

**Gail** (Molly Shannon)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Camp Firewood's arts and crafts instructor became an amateur sleuth when she sought the truth about her husband-to-be Jonas. This led her into the arms of Jeff, a city hall clerk.
**Ten Years Later:** Gail has retreated to the suburbs and a stucco covered house. What no one at Camp Firewood knows, particularly Gene, is that she now has a daughter (Jenny) who is also fond of sleeveless tees and bandanas.Saeed Adyani / Netflix

**Henry** (David Hyde Pierce)
**Previously In:** *Wet Hot American Summer*, *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Astrophysics professor Henry Newman moved in next to Camp Firewood, and later fell in love with Camp Director Beth. Their courtship was interrupted when Henry realized that a piece of NASA's Skylab was going to crash on top of the camp, and only he could help the counselors avert disaster.
**Ten Years Later:** Henry relocated to Florida where he works for NASA. He also has a daughter with Beth, although she doesn't appear on the show.Netflix

**Shari** (Beth Dover)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Neil's high school girlfriend, Shari was humiliated by the counselors when she failed to place her finger aside of her nose (it was a whole thing). This strained Neil and Shari's relationship, but the two made up (and did it) on the first day of camp.
**Ten Years Later:** Neil's ex is now shacking up with Brodfard Gilroy, a toxically pompous professor at Columbia.Photo: Netflix

**Donna** (Lake Bell)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Donna came to camp in '81 as Coop's long distance girlfriend, but over the course of that long first day, she gravitated towards the new soccer counselor, Yaron.
**Ten Years Later:** Donna and Yaron (see next slide) have become the it couple of the self-help world thanks to a series of videos titled *Partners in Passion*.Netflix

**Yaron** (David Wain)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Yaron entered Camp Firewood from Israel as the new soccer counselor from Israel, and left camp that summer with a new love that would last (probably) a lifetime.

**Blake, Graham, Warner** (Josh Charles, Rich Sommer, Eric Nenninger)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** From across the lake, the men of Camp Tigerclaw spent the first day of summer scheming against their less affluent neighbors, culminating in a bloody brawl.
**Ten Years Later:** The men of Tigerclaw are still, well, Tigerclawing out across the lake from Camp Firewood. They may be ten years older, but they're still as pastel coated and morally bankrupt as ever.Saeed Adyani/Netflix

**Courtney** (Kristen Wiig)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Like the men of Tigerclaw, Courtney was all about sticking it to the weirdos at Camp Firewood-literally, like, she stabbed Vic in the thigh with an oyster fork.
**Ten Years Later:** And just like the men of Tigerclaw, the camp's de facto First Lady also hasn't changed all that much. She has, however, taken a liking to somewhat avant garde musical performance as evidenced by her one woman band routine.Saeed Adyani/Netflix

**Logan** (John Early)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Overconfident theater kid Logan made a big splash at Camp Firewood when he landed the lead role in *Electro/City*, but his bubble burst when bad boy Andy stole the role out from under him.
**Ten Years Later:** Logan's all grown up now and basically dressing like an overeager *Real World* cast member, one that's not there for *the drama*. Speaking of drama, he's now in charge of Camp Firewood's theater department.

**Dave** (Paul Scheer)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** As the head honcho for *Rock & Roll World* magazine, Dave was Lindsay's no-nonsense boss.
**Ten Years Later:** Dave's moved up in the journalism world along with Lindsay to News Channel 5, where he and his awesome hair are still in charge.Photo: Netflix

**Eric** (Chris Pine)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** On the night of the first day of camp, Lindsay stumbled across a mysterious shed that turned out to be the home of this reclusive rock star. And when war between Firewood and Tigerclaw broke out, Eric soothed their souls with the power of rock and roll-until he was shot and run over by the U.S. military. Or *was he*?
**Ten Years Later:** As hinted at in the final episode of *First Day of Camp*, Eric lives! We find out in a whirlwind flashback sequence that the government faked his death and turned him into a cyborg assassin (complete with sword hands). He escaped that life, endured a quick rise and fall in the music biz, became a soulless ad man, and then ditched his career to return to his band, Soul Glimmer. Now Eric has Adam Duritz hair *and* sword hands.Netflix

**Greg** (Jason Schwartzman)
**Previously In:** *First Day of Camp*
**Ten Years Earlier:** Greg and Beth, Camp Firewood's two second-in-commands, spent the first day of camp in '81 trying to uncover the conspiracy that brought toxic waste to Firewood. Greg paid for it with his life, taking a bullet between the eyes from a hired assassin named The Falcon (Jon Hamm).
**Ten Years Later:** Pretty much everything that happened to Eric also happened to Greg, whose death was *also* faked so he could become a cyborg assassin. He now performs music in NYC coffee houses with the Eric, the other half of Soul Glimmer.Photo: Netflix

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later

At this point, Wet Hot American Summer may well be the Game of Thrones of comedy. With a cast of dozens (like, three dozens) all vying for each other’s attention/tongues/power/butts, there’s always a lot going on when you take in an installment of the WHAS-verse.

That’s definitely the case with Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Netflix’s 8-episode follow-up to 2015’s First Day of Camp. But whereas FDoC was a prequel to the 2001 film that started it all, 10YL is a sequel that drops the entire expansive cast into the wild world of 1991. And in true Wet Hot form, the teens have gone on to live very interesting lives. Ten Years Later is a show about a bunch of 20-somethings acting like 30-somethings played by 40-somethings.

With so many Firewood alums to keep track of, we’ve prepped a quick refresher that identifies all the returning players in Ten Years Later and a gives quick overview of where they are now. And be warned–there are a handful of spoilers in the “Ten Years Later” sections, so be vigilant if you haven’t streamed the entire season!
