Last night’s episode of Game of Thrones elicited a wild response across social media platforms, and rightfully so; watching Daenerys and Drogon demolish the Lannister Army in a fiery blaze was nothing short of thrilling. The clash – somehow titled “The Loot Train Attack” (we’ve gone from “Hardhome” and “Battle of the Bastards” to this?) – kept viewers on the edge of their seats as brothers came in close proximity to one another and the Mother of Dragons rode in on her fire-breathing steed. Even alumni of the show were not exempt from being totally blown away by “The Spoils of War“, as Jason Momoa proved when he posted about the episode on his Instagram earlier today.

Momoa, who played Daenerys’ dearly departed husband (and Dothraki leader) Khal Drogo, passionately posted about just how hard it had been to contain his excitement about the bonkers action of the episode and Dany’s big moment.

“F*CK ME,” he started the post. Momoa admitted he’d taken it easy on his social media sharing to avoid revealing any spoilers, but his reaction after the episode went live only shows that he’s just as much a fan as the rest of us are. “Holy sh*t that was intense. Wish I was there to f*ck sh*t up,” he wrote. He concluded the post with a congratulations to the showrunners, cast, and crew, and a shoutout to his former screen wife, Emilia Clarke: “miss u mama your a badass super proud.”

Momoa is currently in production for Aquaman, in which he plays the eponymous lead (a far cry from the land-loving Khal Drogo).
