We’re living in an era of relaunched TV, with dramas like X-Files and Twin Peaks picking up where they left off years ago. But there’s one relaunch that did it first and, if you’re going by ratings and ratings alone, did it better: Fuller HouseAn estimated 21 million viewers watched the first season of the Full House sequel when it debuted back in 2016, and those fans have most likely stuck around because Netflix keeps ordering more episodes.

Fuller House Season 2 dropped in December 2016, doubling the number of She-Wolf Pack-related hijinks unleashed in that year. Since then, though, we went months with nothing! It took Netflix until last Friday to finally release a trailer for Season 3! Things have been so quiet on the Fuller House front that one has to wonder when Season 3 is supposed to come out.

Where did we last leave the Fuller/ Tanner/ Gibbler clan?

Season 2 ended with the families celebrating New Year’s Eve and ringing in 2017 with a little drama and a lot of kissing. DJ helped Steve propose to his new girlfriend CJ… by literally getting down on one knee for him. DJ got even closer to her boyfriend Matt, even though she revealed to Kimmy and Stephanie that she really wanted to pick Steve last summer. On top of that, Jesse and Becky returned to San Francisco to pick up their new adopted baby, adding another face to future extended Tanner family photos. And Stephanie told Jimmy about her infertility, a convo that ended with the two reaffirming their love for each other. Aaawwwwwww

When does Season 3 come out?

Season 3 comes out on Friday. Yeah–this Friday! September 22nd! That’s a real shocker considering how long Netflix waited to promote the season. Unlike the previous two seasons, Season 3 will be divided up into two parts. The first nine episodes arrive on September 22, and the other nine will arrive in December. But after months and months of waiting, we’re finally gonna find out if 2017 is really gonna be the best year ever for the Fuller/ Tanner/ Gibbler household. If any family can bring joy to the horror show that is 2017, it’s them!
