Seasons 1 & 2 of Poldark combined soap opera shockers with bodice-ripping romance, but when will Season 3 come out? And will Poldark get a Season 4? And where can you stream the adventure for yourself?

The good news is everyone’s favorite copper-mining, wheat-chafing rake is coming back soon. Poldark Season 3 is set to debut on PBS on Sunday, October 1 at 9PM ET. As with all PBS shows, you should be able to stream it for free on PBS.org on the PBS apps on your streaming device after it premieres. Poldark Season 3 will introduce a whole new cast of characters to the tight knit world of Cornwall, including Demelza’s rather dishy brothers Drake and Sam (who look more like they could be Ross’s hot younger brothers than Demelza’s, but, hey, I’m not complaining about it).

Poldark Season 3 has already aired in the United Kingdom, so I’m going to drop a small spoiler for you. In the closing credits of the finale, a title card and voiceover announcer reveals that Poldark will be back for Season 4.  So Poldark Season 4 is happening! A very spoiler-filled Daily Mail set report (DON’T CLICK AND SAY I DIDN’T WARN YOU ABOUT THE SPOILERS!) claims that Season 4 will air next summer in the UK, but there’s no official word on when it will come stateside.

If you want to catch up on Poldark Seasons 1 & 2, you can stream them for free with an Amazon Prime subscription on Prime Video or you can catch them on PBS Passport. PBS’s subscription streaming service costs $60/year (or $5/month) and offers subscribers unlimited access to a variety of PBS favorites. Click here for more on PBS Passport.
