Oh Wednesday, you wonderful day. It is today that we recognize we’ve made it halfway through the work week. Oh, and also that we get to celebrate a fierce female we love. Today’s Woman Crush Wednesday goes to Fortune Feimster.

The comedian, writer, and actress is a staple on Chelsea, bringing her crazy, contagious energy to every moment and sketch she contributes to Chelsea Handler’s Netflix series. Plus, we’re totally loving her on The Mindy Project lately.

WHO’S THAT GAL: Fortune Feimster

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: There is no one like Fortune. Right? Like, you definitely haven’t mixed her up with anyone else, ever. Which is precisely why we’re crushing on her. We love that when she enters a room, she bursts in with her own kind of energy. Oh, and it’s a hilarious kind. On Mindy we’ve seen her gone from screaming to sweet in a matter of moments, and she’s bringing something new to the show that we never knew we needed. As nurse Colette Kimball-Kinney, we’ve seen her have relationships, reel in her brother (played by Garret Dillahunt), and relate to Mindy (Mindy Kaling). She’s an on-screen match made in heaven with fellow screwball Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) and just the kind of comedic actress the already stacked Mindy Project has benefitted from.

Her comedy is as fearless as it is funny, and we can’t help but love how much the North Carolina native makes those around her laugh. She knows how to balance silly with self-deprecating and we simply can’t get enough.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Many people first took note of Fortune when she regularly appeared on Chelsea Handler’s E! show, Chelsea Lately (where she also served as a writer). She’s continued to pop by Chelsea’s Netflix show to do silly impressions (such as the one above) and it’s always fun to see what a kick Chelsea gets out of her pal.

You probably caught Fortune on shows such as 2 Broke Girls, Idiotsitter, Workaholics, Mulaney, Glee and Married, and in the 2016 comedy film Office Christmas Party.

We can’t imagine The Mindy Project without her, and also love when she pops up as Dougie on the CBS family sitcom Life in Pieces. You can also catch her stand-up in the Netflix special, The Standups.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Fortune’s got a couple of films in her future we can’t wait to get our eyeballs on. The comedies F*cking People, with Aya Cash and Josh Rador, and Deported, are due out later this year. Plus, we’ve got to know what happens with Colette as Mindy finishes its 6th and final season. And you know we’ve always got our fingers crossed for another Chelsea appearance. Luckily, the Fortune is in our favor.
