Since The Good Place is the one comedy that you absolutely have to watch spoiler-free, I’ll just get this out of the way up top: SPOILER ALERT FOR THE GOOD PLACE SEASON 1 AND THE SEASON 2 PREMIERE.

You good? You ready to get into all things The Good Place (with no spoilers past the Season 2 premiere, just in case you aren’t completely caught up). There’s one character that’s really started to stand out in Season 2, a character that has come out of nowhere and threatens to steal the spotlight from the show’s human cast. That character is Vicky, one of Michael’s (Ted Danson) a torture-loving netherworld underlings pressed into a fleshy human form.

We first met Vicky (played by Tiya Sircar) back in episode 8 of Season 1, “Most Improved Player.” Of course back then her name wasn’t Vicky; instead, she was playing the role of the real Eleanor Shellstrop, a virtuous charity worker that ended up in the Bad Place through the bizarre clerical error that led to the selfish Eleanor (Kristen Bell) being in the Good Place. Not only that, real Eleanor was Chidi’s (William Jackson Harper) real soulmate.

The Season 1 finale revealed that all that was a load of shirt, though, and that what we thought was the Good Place was actually a customized Bad Place created by Michael to torture four specific souls. Enter: Vicky. When the curtain was pulled back on Michael’s nefarious scheme, we learned that only four characters (Chidi, Eleanor, Tahani, and Jason) were who they said they were. Everyone else, “real Eleanor” included, were all demon actors assisting Michael in his massive ruse. In the Season 2 premiere, we learned that “real Eleanor” actually goes by the name Vicky, and she is a showboat.

With the torture scenario rebooted, Vicky is very unhappy taking a reduced role in the second round of the illusion. She doesn’t want to play a bland peripheral player like pizza place owner Denise, she wants to break hearts and make humans miserable! The “real Eleanor” role allowed her to cut loose! She’s a force to be reckoned with!

Even if you haven’t seen the episodes following the Season 2 premiere, you can already tell Vicky and her desire to really show off is going to mess up Michael’s plan big time.

And while the role of “Denise” isn’t a juicy one, the role of “Real Eleanor”/”Vicky” definitely is–and it’s introducing people to Tiya Sircar’s incredible range. Sircar isn’t a stranger to TV, not by a long shot; she’s had guest spots on everything from The Vampire Diaries to Master of None and The Mindy Project. But if you’re a major Star Wars fan, then you’re actually very familiar with Sircar–specifically her voice.

Tiya Sircar is the voice of Sabine Wren, the badass demolitions expert/graffiti artist of the crew on Star Wars Rebels. This character is a far cry from Vicky or even real Eleanor. Sabine’s a feisty warrior from Mandalore (she wears Mandalorian armor just like Boba Fett!) but her heart is always in the right place, unlike Vicky. She’s basically everyone on the team’s cool sister, the kind of girl that experiments with hair color and explosive weapons with equal gusto.

If you’re a fan of The Good Place and Star Wars, this connection may have totally slipped past you considering how different all of Sircar’s characters are, but they’re all part of this breakout performer’s extensive IMDb page. And knowing how much range Sircar has, we can’t wait to watch Vicky continue to unleash her acting talent on her victims all season long on The Good Place.
