Sex and horror movies go together like Jason Voorhees and unwashed, definitely smelly hockey masks. As future prank star Jamie Kennedy decreed in Scream, having sex in a horror movie is a one-way express ticket to Deathsville, USA. “Big no-no! Sex equals death,” the future star of Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey! memorably stated in the 1996 horror classic. Yet time after time sexy couples with rocks for brains and zero impulse control fail to heed that advice as they fall victim to one of the most predictable, entertaining tropes in the genre.

'Friday the 13th (2009)
This modern reboot of the historic horror franchise not only dialed up the horror, but it doubled down on the sexiness.
The steamy bone-sesh between Bree (Juianna Guill) and Trent (Travis Van Winkle) is considered to be one of the hottest sex scenes in horror movie history. The two actually get to finish without being brutally murdered (a major plus!), but they’re also spied on by notorious murderer and well-known perv Jason Voorhees (a minus).
'Jennifer's Body' (2009)
Written by Diabo Cody, Jennifer’s Body is a better movie than you’d think. In fact, Robert Ebert even gave it three stars calling it a “Twilight for boys” that “isn’t your assembly-line teen horror thriller.”
The above scene is a slightly hotter version of the well-known Cruel Intentions lip lock as Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried do their best Sarah Michelle Gellar/Selma Blair impression.
Just ignore the 43% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, okay?
'Don't Look Now' (1973)
Directed by Nicolas Roeg, the 1973 indie horror-thriller Don’t Look Now was marred in controversy upon its release.
The sex scene between Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland was considered quite explicit for the era, even including a rare depiction of cunnilingus. To this day, despite Sutherland’s staunch denial, rumors persist that the two stars engaged in unsimulated sex during their steamy scene.
According to IMDB, 9 frames of footage had to be cut in order to avoid an X rating.
'Raw' (2016)
Julia Ducournau’s Raw is, in a word, unsettling. The film about a young girl’s descent into cannibalism is so graphic that it famously made audience members physically ill.
Destined to be a cult classic, the visceral sex scene between Justine and Adrien draws blood as Justine is forced to bite her own arm to satiate her cannibalistic impulses.

'Dressed to Kill' (1980)
The opening scene of Brian De Palmas’ mystery thriller Dressed to Kill is a sensual cascade of eroticism. As Angie Dickinson’s Kate Miller engages in some soapy solo fun in the shower, her sexual reverie is interrupted by a passionate stranger.
Her pleasure is short-lived, however, as her carnal dream sadly turns into a grim reality.
'Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday' (1993)
Sex in a tent? Fun! Being literally sliced in half moments before climax? Not so much.
This particularly gruesome scene from Jason Goes to Hell should be avoided by squeamish types. Also, never really known for his subtlety, Jason “safe sex advocate” Voorhees steps on an unopened condom moments before slicing and dicing his prey.
'An American Werewolf in London' (1981)
Looking for a scene that will make you howl with delight? The sultry hookup between David Naughton and Jenny Agutter in John Landis’ horror comedy An American Werewolf in London is the movie for you.
It starts in the shower and ends in the bedroom as David goes down on his nurse while Van Morrison’s ”Moondance” offers the perfect score to the sexy scene.
'The Neon Demon' (2016)
I’m all for adding a bit of zest to your love life, but, hey, call me old-fashioned, I just think frenching a corpse is a bit too far.
After being rebuffed by Elle Fanning’s Jesse, Jena Malone’s Ruby decides to molest a corpse. An intense, memorable scene, the Prime Video trivia reveals that Malone improvised most of the scene as the script only called for Ruby to kiss the corpse.
