In the wake of dozens of women coming forward to accuse powerful Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment and assault, the conversation about our culture’s massive harassment problem keeps unfolding as more and more stories come to light. One story in particular involves the late Carrie Fisher, a no-nonsense actor/author/advocate known for playing the no-nonsense princess-turned-general Leia Organa in the Star Wars franchise. Fisher, whose sci-fi alter-ego straight-up killed the lecherous slug Jabba the Hutt after he abused her, didn’t mess around in real life when it came to defending women from unwanted advances.

During an appearance on Tucson’s 94.9 Mix FM, Fisher’s longtime friend Heather Ross recounted a story that sounds exactly like something Fisher would do. After hearing that her friend Heather Ross was sexually assaulted by an Oscar-winning producer (not Weinstein, Mashable points out, another one), Fisher fought back.

“Carrie sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw blank at Sony studios,'” said Ross. Fisher continued, saying, “‘I knew [the producer] would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany’s box wrapped with the white bow. It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box.””

That’s our badass princess, right there.
