Another Man Has Come Forward Saying Kevin Spacey Sexually Assaulted Him at Age 14

In the aftermath of the Buzzfeed story on Sunday night wherein actor Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of making aggressive sexual advances on him at a party when he was 14 and Spacey was 26, Vulture today has an interview with a man who says that he carried on a sexual relationship with Spacey when he was 14 and Spacey was 24, and that relationship ended with Spacey attempting to rape him.

The man, who requested anonymity in the article, in the interest of avoiding unwanted media attention, says he and Spacey met when Spacey was a guest instructor at an acting class he was taking as a 12-year-old. Two years later, he says he and Spacey ran into each other while he and his parents were in line for Shakespeare in the Park, and shortly thereafter began a clandestine sexual relationship, to the mind of the 14-year-old in question, consensual, though it ended a short time later after Spacey attempted to forcibly penetrate him and the teen was able to push him off and get away.

The account of this relationship is eye-opening, even beyond the Anthony Rapp article, in that it shows Spacey in an extended series of intentional sexual encounters with this 14-year-old kid, promising him acting gigs and claiming to love him. It’s a series of events that can’t be chalked up to drunken misbehavior at a party, as Spacey’s response to the Rapp article tried to do.

After you talked in the park, when did you and Kevin first meet?
I called him on the phone the next day, and he told me how he was in love with me and wanted to see me. I went and saw him at an apartment he was renting on the Upper West Side. He had a black Labrador named Snake. He might’ve been walking that dog in Central Park when we bumped into him that night. We started a sexual relationship that first visit, which mostly involved me fucking him.

The man, who is now 48 years old and an artist, says he was compelled to come forward after Spacey’s response to the Rapp article attempted to spin the story into him coming out of the closet. “And then he is spinning it, right?” he says in the interview. “‘Oh, people like gays now. So I’ll throw them that. I’ll say I’m gay and I will betray my whole community and do something else that conflates pedophilia with male homosexuality.’ That’s great. Thank you for that.”
