Any woman who can rock such a stunning white dress (and cape!) as Carmen Ejogo did in the season two premiere of The Girlfriend Experience on Starz has automatically earned herself the title of Woman Crush Wednesday.

WHO’S THAT GAL: Carmen Ejogo

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: If Carmen isn’t on your radar quite yet, she’ll never leave it after you lay eyes on her in a single episode of The Girlfriend Experience. Season 2 follows two separate storylines, but as Bria, she’s bringing a suspense and sexiness to the show that is NOT to be missed.

From the fierce dresses to the frumpy factory clothes, the English actress is not just looking great in the show. She’s bringing a stoicism to the character that will suck you right in. The actress and singer has been percolating in big-deal films for a while now, including Away We Go, Selma, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but after the incredible performance she’s spicing up Sunday nights with in the Starz series, it’s sure to have you crushing, too.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: Carmen’s acting career kicked into high-gear in the late 90’s, with many viewers took note of her in 2000’s Love’s Labour’s Lost, and when she played Coretta Scott King in 2001’s Boycott. The actress followed that up with Perfume, What’s The Worst That Could Happen? with Martin Lawrence and Danny DeVito, and Noel with Susan Sarandon. She starred in the 2006 drama series Kidnapped, before popping up in the films The Brave One, Pride and Glory, and a memorable role in Away We Go. You might also remember Carmen from the TV series Chaos and Zero Hour, as well as the 2012 films Sparkle (with Whitney Houston!) and Alex Cross.

You know her as Eva Sanchez in The Purge: Anarchy,  and she stepped back into the shoes of Coretta Scott King for the Oscar-nominated Selma. She’s Seraphina Picquery in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and you’ve also seen her in Born to be Blue with Ethan Hawke, It Comes at Night, and Alien: Covenant.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Later this month you’ll be able to catch her opposite Denzel Washington in Roman J. Israel, Esq., and she’ll return in Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them 2, which is due out at the end of 2018. But right now, you can catch her every Sunday night on Starz in The Girlfriend Experience. As Bria, her storyline focuses on a woman who’s seen and knows too much and is on the run from the man who surely wants her dead. Except staying under the radar in the witness protection program doesn’t work out so well for this seductive escort. She’s giving a performance in the show that’s going to have everyone buzzing, so yourself a favor and get in on the experience now.
