Julia Louis-Dreyfus has enjoyed a massive outpouring of support since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in late September. Fans, colleagues, her Veep network HBO, it’s been a virtual love-fest for the eight-time Emmy winner as she undergoes treatment. It should come as no surprise that the love for Julia is strong. This week, we got a glimpse of that love from her Veep co-stars Matt Walsh (who plays press secretary Mike McLintock) and Sam Richardson (who plays the unsettlingly cheerful Richard Splett).

With Louis-Dreyfus gearing up for her third round of chemotherapy, Walsh and Richardson dipped into the ol’ Rocky catalog for some audiovisual inspiration. And it really seems to have did the trick.

“Eye of the Tiger,” made famous by its placement in Rocky III, a.k.a. The One With Mr. T. You’re never going to miss with that one. Even funnier than the sight of Walsh and Richardson fist-pumping and attempting ill-considered falsettos as the chorus reached its climax were their attempts and finding inspirational quotes. Now is not the time for pep-talk words from Kevin Spacey or Harvey Weinstein, fellas! And it’s almost certainly never a good time for the sage wisdom of Stalin.

Knock ’em out, Julia Louis-Dreyfus!
