Here’s When Mark Duplass’ Horror Sequel ‘Creep 2’ Will Arrive On Netflix

Creep is not your traditional horror franchise.

Created by and starring Mark Duplass and Patrick Brice, the deceptively simple plot of the original film centers on a man claiming to be dying of cancer, Josef (Duplass), who hires a videographer, Aaron (Brice), to shoot a video for his unborn son in a remote mountain town. The semi-improvised movie is confidently unique as it eschews physical mayhem and instead focuses on an enthralling mix of uncertainty and psychological intrigue to create an immensely entertaining and distinctly frightening film.

Creep 2, which is now available to rent on VOD, builds on the destabilizing terror of its predecessor and delivers an aggressively captivating sequel that introduces viewers to a new character – Sara (Desiree Akhavan) – and enhances the mystery of the enigmatic “Josef.” The two share a disorienting, ramshackle chemistry as they embark upon a riveting game of cat and mouse. But the deranged beauty of following an unreliable narrator is that we don’t quite know who’s the hunter and who’s the prey, which adds to the unsettling yet alluring atmosphere of the sequel.

Currently boasting an immaculate 100% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Creep 2 is a can’t miss movie, which begs the question: When is it premiering on Netflix?
