Heavy Metal Grandma Rocks Crowd At Five Finger Death Punch Concert

If there’s one certainty in life, it’s that you’re never too old to rock. Just look at everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to the Rolling Stones! There’s something about pure hard rock energy that brings out the rebellious teenage spirit in everyone, no matter their age. That’s definitely the case with one grandma in particular, a 70-year-old woman who showed a crowd how to rock over the weekend.

During a their performance in Oslo, Norway this past Saturday, Las Vegas heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch brought out a special guest to help them perform “Jekyll and Hyde.” That guest? A heavy metal grandma more into it than anyone in the entire venue.

After hugging frontman Ivan Moody and throwing up the devil horns, the woman takes command of the stage and rocks out hard. Air guitar, foot stomping, getting on the mic next to the epically bearded bassist Chris Kael–this grandma does it all! And as heavy metal as her performance is, it’s cool to see just how happy her enthusiasm makes the Death Punch boys. They’re all smiles while she lives out her rock and roll dream.

You can see the entire performance above, captured in HD via an audience member (seriously, that’s some 4K quality up there!). And who knows, maybe lilac-colored “79” shirts will become a mainstay of future Death Punch concerts.
